Freedompro Shutter Module is a Matter certified relay and therefore compatible and with all smart systems and apps, such as Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings, IFTTT, and Home Assistant.

Designed to revolutionize the home and make it smart, Freedompro Shutter Module features 4 channels, allowing users to setup and control up to 2 shutter-type accessories at once.

How to install Shutter Module DIN (WC0102-C)

Installing Freedompro Shutter Module DIN (WC0102-C) is really very simple, just follow these steps:

  1. Before installing your Freedompro module, disconnect power from the electrical system;

  2. Clip the Freedompro module to the DIN rail of the electrical panel, inside a junction box, or wherever you prefer;

  3. Connect accessory and control cables to the top and bottom connectors as shown in the connection diagrams;
    You can find them in the manual included in the package or on top of this article;

  4. Connect the power supply as shown in the wiring diagrams;

  5. Verify correct wiring and reconnect power to electrical system;

  6. Status led of the Freedompro module will turn fixed magenta.

After connecting the device and powering it up, the device is immediately working with the switches connected to it at the bottom.

How to perform calibration of the Shutter Module DIN WC0102-C smart device

Once you have installed the device, it is strongly recommended that you calibrate the module to better control your awning or shutter; you can do this by physical procedure or conveniently via app once you have paired the module.

Alternatively, follow these steps to calibrate it manually:

  • Make sure there is no obstacle in the path of your roller shutter or awning;

  • Click 3 times and hold the setup button on the module to start the calibration process;

  • Wait for the calibration process to finish.

Warning!

  • Any changes in wiring should be made after making sure there is no voltage in the electrical system.

  • Install the device in a protected, dry place inside the house.

  • Device installation should be done carefully by a qualified electrician.

  • Do not connect devices that exceed the maximum indicated load to the device.

  • Use the device only with an electrical grid and with appliances that comply with all applicable standards. A short circuit in the power grid or in any appliance connected to the device may damage the product.

  • Connect the device using only the indicated methods. Any other way may cause damage and void the warranty.

Follow the steps below to complete the setup process and go on pairing the Freedompro Modules with your smartphone in no time.

  • Download the app Freedompro;

  • Accept permissions requested by the application and log in with your Freedompro account. If you do not have an account you can create one through Apple, Facebook or Google;

  • Click on the "+" in the upper right corner;

  • Follow the directions on the app Freedompro to pair the module;

  • Click "Finish" to complete the module configuration or "Add a new module" if you have to pair more modules;

  • The module will be shown on the home page of the application.

Your Freedompro Smart Modules are now ready to use.

Freedompro devices are usable as soon as they are connected to the power supply. However, to use them best, it is recommended to customize the type of controls that are connected to them.

The controls can be configured through the Freedompro app. If a WiFi network is not available, you can complete the configuration process using the WebApp.

Once you have installed and configured your module you can proceed to pair it with the smart platforms.

Maintenance and Reset

Status Led

Check the color of the status LED located on the front of your Freedompro Smart Module to immediately view and understand the status of the device.

Here is a list of the meanings of the status LED colors:

Solid blue: System ready

Flashing blue: Pairing mode

Flashing green: Identification

Steady magenta: No Internet connection

Flashing magenta: No Wi-Fi connection

Steady red: System starting up

Fast flashing red: Factory reset

Reset

Are you facing issues with your Freedompro module? Before you continue reading this guide, contact our Customer Service Department. If your only option is to reset your Freedompro module, follow this guide and you will reset your device in a matter of moments.

In fact, as the word itself says, performing a reset on a Freedompro module means resetting the product and thus restoring the factory settings.

Warning:

The reset operation is irreversible, so once done, you cannot go back.

Are you sure you want to reset your Freedompro module? Well, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the place where you installed the Freedompro Module;

  2. Using a sharp tool, press and hold the "Setup" button on the front panel just below the status LED for about 10 seconds, until the status LED begins to flash rapidly red;

  3. Wait a few moments and you will be able to set up your Freedompro module again.
