Updated over 3 months ago

Apple HomeKit is a protocol that connects smart home accessories and Apple devices. Home control and management become simple and intuitive with Apple HomeKit.

You can also easily set up advanced functions, such as creating scenarios and automations. In addition, system customization is convenient and comfortable for any user.

Freedompro products ensure that Apple's simplicity and intuitiveness are transferred to the home system, so that modules can be controlled from an iPhone, iPad, or by simply talking to Siri.

Pairing Freedompro products with Apple HomeKit gives you access to all these functions.

Remote control: with Apple HomeKit, you can manage accessories even when you are not at home. To do this, you must have an Apple TV or HomePod configured as a home hub; read how to do this on Apple's support site.

How to carry out the disconnection procedure from Apple Home

When you decouple a Freedompro product from Apple HomeKit, the connection to Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa Home Assistant, and IFTTT will remain unaffected.

Follow the steps below to disconnect the Smart Freedompro module from Apple HomeKit:

  • Open the Freedompro app;

  • Go to "Settings" of the selected device;

  • Click on "Unpair from Apple HomeKit".

Note: If the "Unpair from Apple HomeKit" button is not displayed, it means that the product is not associated with any Apple device.
