Updated over 10 months ago

Here is a quick guide to follow to complete the pairing of Freedompro devices with Home Assistant.

Home Assistant is a free open source platform that allows you to use more than 1,800 different services to fully manage your home. It automatically scans your network for known devices and allows you to easily configure them. When you have integrated all the devices, you can unleash Home Assistant's advanced automation engine to make your home work for you.

Home Assistant also allows additional features to be added to further increase its capabilities.

Use the official Home Assistant apps, handy tools for quickly controlling devices and being alerted when events occur in the home. The apps can also be used to send your location to the home and use presence detection as part of automations. The data is sent directly to your home, with no third-party access.

By combining Freedompro devices with Home Assistant, all devices and different categories of accessories installed in the home can be used and automated.
