How to pair a Freedompro device with Alexa

Requirements:

  • Freedompro device paired with Freedompro app

  • Alexa application

This article briefly explains how to pair Freedompro products with smart application systems.

  1. Open the Amazon Alexa app available for Android and iOS devices.

  2. Click the "Devices" icon in the bottom menu and select "Smart Home Skill."

  3. Choose "Enable Smart Home Skill."

  4. Search for "Freedompro" and click "Enable Use."

  5. Log in to your Freedompro profile with your Google or Facebook account to complete the association.

How to perform the disconnection procedure from Amazon Alexa

Performing this disconnection procedure will disassociate all smart devices (Google, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, IFTTT) except Apple HomeKit.

To exclude Google and Amazon services, Home Assistant and IFTTT, simply remove the Freedompro device from your account in the Freedompro app by following the steps below:

  1. Open the Freedompro Home app.

  2. Go to the settings of the device you want to remove.

  3. In the "Remove Module" section, click "Remove."

  4. Confirm your choice by choosing "Yes."

If you own the device and remove your profile, all guest users will also no longer be able to access it.
