What is automatic calibration
Auto-calibration is a procedure that all Shutter modules perform in total autonomy; and it is aimed at setting the specific properties of the shutter connected to the module in order to optimize its operation.
The auto-calibration procedure consists of measuring the opening time and the complete closing time of the accessory.
During this procedure, the Freedompro module will monitor the proper functioning of the motor and set the ideal parameters for its operation.
Warning
Before performing automatic calibration, make sure that there are no obstacles (living or otherwise) within range of the moving device.
How to perform auto-calibration of an accessory via the Freedompro Home app
Are you ready to perform automatic calibration? Make sure you meet the indicated requirements.

Shutter Module paired with Freedompro Home
Now you are ready to proceed with the auto-calibration of your accessories, just follow these steps:
Open the Freedompro Home app;
Select the shutter for which you want to perform automatic calibration;
Select "Settings"
Select "Run automatic calibration";
Wait for the procedure to finish.
When the automatic calibration procedure is completed, the accessory will be ready to perform precise openings and closings.
How to set up automatic calibration of the Shutter Module without the Freedompro Home app
Do you want to configure automatic calibration of accessories connected to a Freedompro Shutter Module? Follow these steps:
Using the dedicated tool, make 3 short presses and 1 long press on the setup button located on the front of DIN Modules or on the back of Mini Modules;
If you have performed the first step correctly, the status LED will start flashing green.
The status LED will turn blue (and stop flashing).
Congratulations! You completed the configuration of the automatic calibration of your accessory.
