How to pair a Freedompro device with Google Assistant

Requirements

  • Device paired with the Freedompro app

  • Google Home app

Follow the steps below to pair Freedompro devices with Google:

  1. Open the Google Home app available for Android and iOS.

  2. Press the "+" button and select "Set up device".

  3. Choose "Have you set up anything yet?"

  4. Search for "Freedompro" among the services listed

  5. Log in to your Freedompro profile with your Google or Facebook account to complete the pairing.

How to disconnect a device from Google Assistant

This process will cause all smart devices (Google, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, IFTTT) except Apple HomeKit to be disconnected.

To opt out of Google and Amazon services, Home Assistant, and IFTTT, simply remove the Freedompro device from your account in the Freedompro app by following the steps below:

  • Open the Freedompro Home app.

  • Go to the settings of the device you want to remove.

  • In the "Remove Form" section, click "Remove."

  • Confirm your choice by choosing "Yes."

If you own the device and remove your profile, all guest users will also no longer be able to access it.
