Learn how to achieve multi-admin management by pairing Freedompro Home with a Module already integrated with other Matter services.

Updated over 6 months ago

Have you paired your Freedompro Smart Module with Apple Home, Google Home or Alexa and now want to integrate the Freedompro Home app through Matter as well? No problem, we can help you.

As you know, all Freedompro Modules are Matter-certified smart devices, and therefore are designed and developed to ensure seamless integration with all smart home control apps and platforms.

In fact, in just a few moments you can pair Freedompro Smart Modules with any smart home management app even if you already have them paired with another one of these apps.

Please note: It is always recommended that the first pairing procedure be done with the proprietary app (in this case, Freedompro Home).

How to combine Freedompro Home with a Module already integrated with another Matter service.

The pairing procedure of a Module already integrated with another Matter network is divided into two parts:

  • the first on the already paired Matter service app;

  • the second on the Freedompro Home app.

A few simple steps, are we there? Let's start:

  1. Open the Matter service app already paired with the Module.

  2. Enter the Module or accessory settings.

  3. Obtain and copy the pairing code.

Perfect, first part completed. Now let's move on to the second segment:

  1. Open the Freedompro Home app on your device.

  2. Tap the Menu icon at the top left, then select "Module Settings".
If you have multiple homes, make sure you have selected the correct one.

  3. Select the Module you wish to integrate through Matter.

  4. Scroll down to the "Matter" section, then select "Pair Freedompro with Matter".

  5. Paste the previously copied code into the appropriate section.

  6. Tap on "Next", then on "Done" to complete the operation.

You have successfully paired the Freedompro Module to Matter.
