Additional accessory features

Each accessory is characterised by a name and a set of predefined parameters.

The accessories light, window covering, outlet, fan, smoke sensor, contact sensor, occupancy sensor, light sensor, temperature sensor, CO2 sensor, Humidity sensor, leak sensor and motion sensor allow also to have a maximum of two additional features besides the main one. The additional features are supported by Apple only.

Use additional features when configuring accessories that combine different features into one physical object. For example, you can configure a ceiling fan as a Light accessory with the related parameters and insert the additional Fan feature, so as to control both functions from a single graphic element in the Apps.

The accessories door, window, garage door, scene, lock and gate are not compatible with Apple platform so they do not support additional features and cannot be used for this function.
