How to create a Habit on the Freedompro Home app.

For convenience, let's split the creation of a Habit into two parts:

  • the definition of the Event String

  • the automatic start of the Event String

How to set the Event String

First, let's go on to define the Event String, which is the target of your Habit.

For example, do you want to set up a Habit that will raise the bedroom shutter and turn on the bathroom light when you wake up? Let's see how to do that:

  1. Open the Freedompro Home app;

  2. Tap on the "Habits" icon at the bottom of the bottom menu;

  3. Define the events that will make up your Habit by selecting:

    1. "Accessory" to define which objects will complete the Event String and their status;

    2. "Notification" to get notified when the Habit is completed. In addition, you can also set the title and message of the notification;

    3. "Delay" to postpone or set a waiting time between one or more events.

    To set the Habit in example, tap on "Accessory" and select the accessories "Room Shutter," setting the status to "Open" and "Bathroom Light," setting the status to "On." If you want, you can delay turning on the bathroom light by selecting "Delay," adding a timer.

  4. You can reorder your Event String by tapping the "Edit" icon.

How do you set up the automatic start of the Event String

Now that you created your Event String, you can make it really smart by setting it to start automatically by adding specific Starting Conditions.

Follow the steps given to set up the automatic start of the Event String to create a Habit with the Freedompro Home app:

  1. Tap on "Add Starting Conditions";

  2. Define one or more "When" conditions that, when met, automatically start Habit;

  3. Define one or more "As long as" conditions that, only when met and only if there's one "When" condition at least, automatically start the Habit;

  4. Press "Next" to complete the creation of a Habit.
